The Owner Ashley Thomas started The Shabby Rose in 2011 with the passion and dream to create beautiful florals! Our goal is that every wedding should reflect the couple. Each couple has a story and should tell their story through their wedding. When designing flowers for a wedding, we are as invested in the flowers and the couple as if they were for our own wedding. We have such a passion for flowers, and it’s a true gift to turn dreams into a reality.

Many years ago, Ashley asked me to help her with a wedding delivery. What I thought would be a one-time job became a passion and love for flowers! Ashley has taught me to design beautiful pieces for a variety of wedding styles and events. During my years in college, I also worked at a floral shop making arrangements for a variety of clients. I loved being able to continue learning and developing skills to create unique arrangements. My favorite part of my job is adding all the little details that make each wedding special for all of our brides.

Fun facts about The Shabby Rose:

*Favorite flowers are peonies, sweet peas, garden roses and ranunculus.
*Any flowers not taken from an event are donated to a local retirement home or cancer treatment center.
*We love color and a challenge!!
*We source our flowers from local wholesalers and also get them direct from growers.
